Herma has developed HERMALaser sheet 50 label paper, a lightweight and supple material that is designed for the permanent, safe labeling of surfaces with small radii. Its construction makes it suitable for use with pharmaceutical applications, such as hospitals or laboratories. In addition, the paper can be used for the direct labeling of blood bags, which are used to store and transport blood donations.

HERMALaser sheet 50 uses the company’s permanent adhesive 62Z. It is also designed for optimal printability and toner keying with all xerographic printing processes.

The label sheets can be used for desktop laser printers, copiers and many inkjet printers. The paper has received approval from the BfR recommendation XXXVI (Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung, Federal Institute for Risk Assessment). This ensures its safe use with food packaging. It can also be in direct contact with dry and fatty foodstuffs. The adhesive 62Z features an approval for dry, moist and fatty foodstuffs, as well.
